Default Attention Aerocraft

Gar, I would like to purchase one of your carburetor insulators for my 1930 A. Maybe this will prevent vaporization on the extremely hot days. Tom.

Tom there was a post about poor grounding of the engine and the ground was actually through the fuel line heating it up and causing problems. Have to checked for continuity from the engine to the battery with the fuel line dissconnected?

Mike,
Yes, I have checked for continuity, and my fuel line has a section of rubber hose. Thanks for your suggestions.

Aerocraft-

Do you have a pic of what you're talking about
- or a link to a previous thread (tried searching to no avail)
- or a diagram
- or a detail description.

I'm having the same issue (and yes, I did check for fuel line grounding...).

Thanks

bogiediver: I thought that I have previously posted pictures of what I have made for folks in several local Model A clubs but can't find the entries. I will buy some more material from McMaster-Carr and post some shots of the process. That will take a while though.......

Gar-

No worries - just looking for something that may help in this heat.

When you get to it - progress shots and/or a description would be great.

The 'A' is not going anywhere right now for other reasons anyway...
