Steering mechanism was the first thing I thought of too. Now THAT car would turn heads.

Cables & Pulleys would work Saw a pic of a HUGE Touring Car, with TANDEM front axles, imagine the linkage mess it must have had Bill Nut

Chief "collected" engines, once he considered putting a Perkins Diesel or a "modern" Wisconsin V-4, in a Model A. I thought the Wisconsin was a NIFTY idea! (NO overheating or coolant leaks!)
