I would be very interested in seeing how the steering linkage configuration works
I will start that project, as soon as i get a few more finished that I have already started

Steering mechanism was the first thing I thought of too. Now THAT car would turn heads.

Had seriously diminished door openings, would be tough to get into, even for the short folk of that era.

Cables & Pulleys would work
Saw a pic of a HUGE Touring Car, with TANDEM front axles, imagine the linkage mess it must have had

As for steering linkage.. I would not think it would be any more difficult than a VW bus a.k.a "hippy wagon"

Actually, there's a guy that has a diesel powered A in California. He use to post often on the Ahooga site before this one became popular.

Chief "collected" engines, once he considered putting a Perkins Diesel or a "modern" Wisconsin V-4, in a Model A. I thought the Wisconsin was a NIFTY idea! (NO overheating or coolant leaks!)

Yes, but you'll have stuck exhaust valves every spring.
And a word of warning, don't try to lift a stuck valve by prying between the tappet and bottom of valve, or you can snap the skinny camshaft. Wonder how I learned that one.

Now that is a sophisticated, classy remark. Sometimes I can't believe what people write. Comment should be removed. Wayne
