My girlfriend told me that I could buy a turn key Lincon Zepher with all the money I spend on beer. So I asked her if she drank beer.She said "No".

I have been known to exaggerate a bit, even though I can't remember her ever asking. I think we both stretch our shopping tales, but we both have an income, so what the heck. Even if I don't get everything I paid out someday, my trucks and parts will have far more value than her pile of used shoes and designer dog treats. On the other hand I out and out lie to my employee because he always asks "What did that cost?" I am often on his case about how the business doesn't have a lot of money to throw around. "Hey there's still some grit on that sandpaper"

I told my wife I was looking for A 34 panel truck to go with my pickup, that way we could both drive to shows, and she replied If you want to buy me something buy me a 57 T BIRD not some old truck. So she got her T BIRD and I now have the panel truck, the problem now is who will drive what.

Do remember she ranted once I spent too much time with the toys, I reminded her the deal / choice, babe's or cars. Never gave me anymore sh__ about it.
