Looks like it has a 32-34 truck bed....maybe a wide bed , but pretty sure it is a later model.

Definitely a wide bed, not a 32-34. If you look at the top edge of the front panel it is bowed and runs parallel to the belt molding on the cab. The 32-34s are straight.

Late 31 PU is about the most simple answer. Metal top and wide bed, and if it's totally true to form an indented firewall as well.

Think it's worth $1700 with the doors?

The first photo if it shows that it is not a solid metal top. I clearly see daylight showing through it. The cab once had a fabric top covering. My guess is that the CCPU is an accumulation of parts, leaning towards a 1930 or 1931.

Does he have the rear fenders also? As they will be harder to find than the doors. Rod

The late 31 pickups could have:

Metal Top or Fabric Top
Wide Bed or Narrow bed
Indented Firewall or Flat Firewall

Or any combination of the above. Ford was famous for "using up" existing parts which contributed to this mix match. My PU has Metal Top, Indented Firewall, Narrow Bed.

The guy down the road from me wants 2500$ for Much less then that for the rust bucket in a basket lol Of Course the RedNeck I am would go in there and say all I got is 1500$ coughcough

I have been wondering why my 28 ccpu has the spare fender mount on the right side. It would seem that is where they would naturally be, due to the restriction in the door opening. I am aware that the factory pu's left with the spare on the drivers side.
