I don't recall seeing one in any of the current catalogs.
I have one but have never tried to figure how to mount it. Not sure if it is all there.

With the tires that are made today and the much better roads, who needs 2 spares?I would think that the extra weight would put quite an added strain on the tire mount.

I only carry a double spare on long trips. As mentioned, I don't like the idea of all the extra weight on those 3 carrier bolts. I just used rubber tie downs to hold the extra spare to the mounted spare.

Does anyone do any beefing-up of the internal bracing when using a rear-mounted double-spare ?

That tube & flange mount will act like a big lever, and the additional weight might be more than the stock moorings will tolerate...

I have one that i would probably sell, it's not an original and needs to be painted. PM me Speedway if you are interested. I could bring it to the next sunday swapmeet in Enfield.

We had one of our Summer Tour participants using one of those on a 1930 coupe. About half way through the tour the spare tire carrier that was attached to the car broke. He found a place to get it welded but we carried the spare on the trouble truck for the rest of the tour. Apparently the bracket did not support the weight of two wheels and tires. Just thought you might want to think about that when considering using this option for two spares.

I think I uploaded a photo of the Double Spare Tire that came on My TS. It's a simple bolt that could easily be fabricated.
