Default Parking brake cam question

The bushing for the parking brake cam is not something I have seen before. The bushing and nut is all one piece brass and was pressed into the backing plate with the nut part facing the inside of the car.
What are your thoughts?

Original was just a straight bushing.Looks like a "Home" fix.

Hope they didn't enlarge the hole to fit the new bushing. If they did you will have to make your own bushings.
