Again, all great info. The only thing that I am confused about is, whether I can do the seal in the car or have to pull the engine. Some people say yes and some say no.
Maybe it has to do with the b trans that it hooked to it. This is a pic of the pan and trans.

In all honesty replacing the seal is so much easier with the engine out and on a engine stand that is the only way I would do it

Yes,I read all the post including #14. I am here trying to learn about all this stuff. Sorry if my questions came off sounding wrong, or if I didn't provide enough info to begin with. Didn't mean to offend anyone.
