Default rods

can 1930 model a rods b adjustable or do they have to be replaced. and where do you put the webbing for floor boards

You can still use the rods even after the last shim is removed until the clearance becomes too great. On a modern car I can hear a rod knock with .0035" clearance. I bought a model A engine with over .010" clearance and the seller said it ran like a million bucks and didn't make noise. I wonder if he lied to me.

The webbing goes around the outside edge and gets folded over at the corners and goes on the bottom edge. I'll look for my pictures.
