Default Help! Metal Valve Stems

It's my understanding that they don't make innertubes with Metal Valve Stems anymore.

I have the metal valve stems and associated hardware. I am looking for someone. within driving distance from San Dimas, CA. (L.A./ San Bernardino area)who could take my hardware and remove the rubber stem and attach my metal valve stems.

Thank you!

I have a how-to video in production to show how. If you feel like driving to Calaveras County, I can do them.

If you feel like bringing them down to San Diego, I can do them for you. I am doing a set today in new rubber stem tubes.

Thanks to all of you!!!!

I just made a deal with Coker for six innertubes with metal valve stems/dust covers for my '29. No back order. In stock! Everyone else seems to not want to carry them any longer. Bought six tires from "Performance Tire" in Long Beach. $106.00 each. Its all good!!

P.S.—Excellent video. What type file are you using? Is that a flat metal file, or a wood rasp, or a special inner tube file?
Paul makes it look so easy!

The flat side is just regular file like you could use on metal. The top is rounded and raspy. I only use the flat side. They are super easy once you've done about 50 of them.
