Default Horn ID - Year? Pics

Can anyone ID this horn?
Looking for year, what it came on, and a guesstimate on a price.
There are no marking on this, other then "adjust"near the center rear screw.
I paid $65 total on e-bay.
It all metal, it works, it's loud, but may need some oil, I get the A-UUUU, but barely a GAAA.
My current cheap horn sounds like a sick/weak goat.

I pretty much guessed that it was not a Model A horn, but does anyone know what it came on?
I'm going to run it on mine because it's old, it's metal and it's loud...and it's NOT new, it's NOT mostly plastic and it does not sound like a sick goat.
If I knew what it belongs on I may be able to trade, making two people happy in the process.
And I'd like to know if I got a fair deal or got the shaft.

My 1929 Chevy uses a KLAXON horn that looks a lot like this one. It's mounted inside the frame rail on the left side of the engine.

I have bought a couple horns like that over the yrs. at swap meets. They are usually very cheap. The ones I've bought a Model A front flared bell fit the bolt pattern. The contacts are external & need to be changed & located inside the rear can. When finished you have a great look a like Model A horn. Perfect for a driver 90% won't know the diff. between it & a genuine horn.

From the Motel T area it was noted that this is somewhere around 1925, give or take.
I'll be on the look out for a flared bell for the front, until then I'm going to hook her up.
Beats the hell out of that funky thing I have now.
Thank you all...You Motel T guys also.

I have a Sparton horn that looks similar. I was advised by some Model T experts that the Model T never had a motor driven horn. Like you, I have never determined what kind of car it came on ?

It looks alot like the Klaxton I have on my '30 chevy. I believe many different cars came with this horn. I have several hanging in the garage.
