Default Heading to Niagara Falls tomorrow from Washington DC

I leave for the MARC meet early afternoon tomorrow in my town sedan, heading up through Gettysburg, Chambersburg and up central PA. I'd love to meet up with others on the way if our schedules and routes are in synch. Last minute, I know, but it was suggested to go with others and that does make a lot of sense. PM if interested. Suggestions on best routes for a Model A through that are are appreciated to. No interstates and no overdrive, FYI.

Thanks!

Good luck and please have a safe and enjoyable trip ! I say trip but it really is an experience that you will forever talk about. Good to see you driving the A and not trailering it ! Wayne

It will be far and away my longest trip in this car. My car has been dead reliable and has been on a couple of local tours, but nothing of this magnitude. Brakes adjusted, new radiator hoses, lubed, oil changed, new alternator, new tires, carb adjusted and bringing spares of most of the parts that could fail. It will be an adventure, for sure.

My engine is out of the car and in the shop. I look forward to when I can take my first big trip in my A. Let us know how it goes when you get back. Have fun, enjoy the ride and be safe!

While in Pennsylvania, go through Canton, Leroy, and Granville Summit. Send me pics. I'll relive my hillbilly youth.

Hey mhsprecher,

Will you be able to make it to the Fords in the Park event on Saturday?

There will be a tour from the park to the Niagara Falls meet at 9:00 am Sunday morning.
