Default 51 merc brake pedal

Any tips on how to remove the brake pedal on my 51 Merc with AT?

Don't recall if there is a floor panel that it fits thru but if there is, the panel would have to be removed and the pedal assy slid off the shaft or the shaft and pedal assy unbolted from the frame.
With the exception of the wider foot rest on the automatic all the '49-'51 assy's are the same

Thanks there is a floor panel. From the pic it looks like a clip on the end has to come off first the pedal then the assembly?

Thanks I tried to get the clip from the top but can't reach it
Is it better to try below from under the floor?

Which ever way is easiest. The clip can be rotated to get access to the open end.
