RG & JS Rev 3 (2011) Status Update (5/17/11): Printing has been completed for RG & JS Rev 3 (2011) and has been delivered to the MARC office. Pre-orders are currently being filled and shipped first per the date the order was placed. Depending on your location and the date the order was placed, we expect the these orders to start arriving near the end of this week and continue through next week.

Is that the whole standards book or is it a suppliment to MODEL "A" RESTORATION GUIDELINES AND JUDGING STANDARDS: COMPLETE?

Per the MARC Web Site:

Revision 3, Supplement 1 (2011), to the RG & JS revises and supersedes about half of the current MARC/MAFCA Restoration Guidelines & Judging Standards book. In order to make the complete book you will still need selected portions of Revision 1 (1994) and Revision 2 (1997). The remainder of the RG & JS will be revised over the next few years.

Revision 3, Supplement 1 (2011), is much more comprehensive than revisions of the past. The new revision is 178 pages and will include over 150 new photographs and illustrations. This revision includes the following areas: Engine Compartment, Electrical System, Cooling System, Undercarriage, Instruments and Controls, Brake System, Steering Column, Paint and Striping, Accessories, Lamps, Horn, Wheels, Tires and Valve Stems, Convertible Sedans, and Station Wagons.

For those members that currently have a copy of the RG & JS, the new Revision 3 Supplement 1 (2011), may be ordered today for $13.50 USD plus shipping from the MARC Office.

For those members that do not currently have the RG & JS, the complete book may be purchased from the MARC Office for $25 USD plus shipping. All orders for the complete book will include past Revisions 1 (1994), & 2 (1997), and the new Revision 3 (2011) Supplement 1.
