Default Spring Canfield Swap Meet

I just received my registration packet from Dave and Ed's confirming we will
be at our usual place at the Canfield Ohio Swap Meet. Look for Alice and me
at space #382....May 3, 4, and 5. I cannot stress enough how old school
this meet is. Usually lots of Flathead goodies.
Many long time Barners come to visit and set a spell....Jim Kroll, Terry Boich,
Dan Babarick, Dave Collete, Maybe even Big Jon Anderson and Ken 'Redneck'
Stewart, plus many more. Perhaps a miracle will occur this year and Mac
and Shelly will attend.
Dial back to Hershey in the early years and that's Canfield today.

Love Canfield, and it's not that far from home. Didn't make it last year, but I'm going to try again this spring. I remember where your spot is, if I go this time I will be sure to stop and say Hi. Paul Selfe.

Do you think I should make the trip to Dave and Ed's show in Canfield? Our store is only 1 mile from the Canfield fairgrounds - lucky me! I go every year and the spring show is the best. If the weather is good, the show overflows into the perimeter and center of the 1/2 mile race track. There is always a big car coral with cars for sale at friendly "Ohio prices".

If in the area, be sure to stop in to see our car museum - over 35 cars on display and some Model As and at least 5 or 6 flathead Fords. See www.tipcars.us for info.

"how far from Columbus to Canfield?"

Map Quest says 3 hours and 10 minutes, but we usually allow 3-1/2 hours with a pit stop, and on Friday afternoons the traffic gets a little heavy in the Columbus area. Our car museum is open every Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM. I think the car museum is also open part of the day on Sunday for the Canfield show (May 5th), but call first for the special hours that day. 35 cars in two buildings and free admission.

Here are some more pictures of some of our Fords that are on display - the black '36 and maroon '37 Street Rods belong to my son - he likes modifieds and I like originals - especially the flatheads.
