Re: 28 wing wing bracket
You meant Wind Wing correct? I bought a set off the Swap Meet section and they were very reasonable. Wayne

Re: 28 wing wing bracket
I didn't know there was a difference between a 28 and a 29 wingnuts (nickel plated). I assume you are referring to the the stanchion/windshield wingnut. If you post a picture of the drivers side wingnut it might help someone see what you need. I am attaching a picture of what I believe is a 28/29 original windshield wingnut.
Rusty Nelson I misread the original post, the wingnut I was referring to is irrelevant - sorry. Last edited by wrndln; 07-01-2016 at 12:37 PM. |

Re: 28 wing wing bracket
I thought he wants the WIND wing bracket that holds the glass.
I have the full set of 4 and two pieces of glass that I won't install on my 28 Phaeton.........if I can find them. |

Re: 28 wing wing bracket
jm29henry,
You are correct. I believe some late 28's had windwings from the factory, like the outside door handles that started appearing in late 28. If the car was made before Nov or Dec 28, someone probably just drilled the holes in the stanchions and add the windwings. Rusty Nelson |
