Default Transmission Question-1922 T

Just started my Dad's 1922 T for the 1st time in 16 years...this is basically the first time it has been run in his ownership except for the quick 30 seconds after it was delivered in 1994. Reverse is making a groaning sound like it is fighting to move the car. Does anyone have any advice?

The engine has a bit of a low speed skip and evens out nice with speed...low and high seem to work fine except the car likes to creep forward when starting cold (band adjustment?)

The groaning in reverse is telling you it's a model T, but since we can't hear it don't know if it is the normal groan. Press harder and you should be going in reverse. The creeping when cold is normal. Park it with the hand brake lever forward, it sometimes helps. remember neutral and parking brake on when you go to start tho.
