I think he wants to go back and check out the cheerleaders!

If I had a Model A in high school it would probably look exactly the same. When I was a senior in high school I bought a nice original 1960 350 Parilla and painted it candy apple green and silver. It was beautiful, but a couple years later I regretted not leaving the original paint on it. These days I like to keep my machines as original as possible, or at least as original as practical.

If I lived in the hot south I'd probably want air conditioning in my Model A, even if it was just a small portable unit and run by Honda generator hanging on the rear.

Beautiful car, makes me sad, that I had to sell my BLACK, '30 Coupe, Minerva. But, Vermin, my '29 Coupe awaits me in the Carriage House.

Bill, Alway wonder why you didn't name your latest car "Vermina". That way you would use all the same letters as "Minerva"...

Ted, besides the wheels, color and headlights your car looks pretty stock. Your Club shouldn't give you any static over those items. Nice car.

What part of the country do you hang your hat?

TED
The best thing you ever did was to save the Model A through all the military years and still have it when you got out!

Blockhead, I'm from Northern California. Grew up in Humboldt County, but currently reside near Sacramento.

Thanks everybody for the well wishes! Great to know there's so many like-minded people around here.

Yes, I did graduate! I don't think you can get in the military without graduating...

You don't have to live in the south to want/need an air conditioner. My PU has one.

I DID cut up some extra "MINERVA" stickers, to make a VERMIN sign, I'm CHEEP!

We just passed thru that way last week coming home from Oregon. Spent the night in Elk Grove. I can't make that trip in one day anymore, ~800 miles.

Beautiful car, enjoy, and welcome to the Barn. As far as paint and juice brakes, it is your car, and looks to be well done, no harm, no foul.

Dangit, Bill. Didn't even think of visiting. We were on a mission to visit my wife's father for his 90th Birthday in Roseburg, Or.
