Default Door lock issue

My 30 Tudor has the passenger door lock in the locked position with no key. Ive tried removing all the screws and rotating as far as I can but the shaft is just short of rotating enough to remove it from the door. I would like to be able to lock/unlock this door, but cant get the door handle out...any suggestions?

Is there a locksmith that you can drive to and see if they can help?

Lock smith! I have heard a smith can blacken a blank key, insert the key which makes marks on the blank, they then file the blank.

A frozen Model A door lock can appear totally impossible to unlock .... even for the FBI .... especially today's FBI.

From experience, however, please do not give up.

If you can remove your lock, please do so before ruining it, and please call Model A locksmith Mr. Dick Crabtree at 605-487-7229 ..... he can also make Model A keys for any original Model A ignition switch or door lock.

Excellent reasonable work.

Might add, even if you "cannot" remove your lock, please call Mr. Crabtree ...... a most kind and compassionate gentleman who will do all he can to assist you.

And please remember, that it appears that all answers to all of the most difficult questions in Life are always "No" ....... until you ask the right person.

Boy, ain't that the troof. I asked for weatherproof wire nuts at my local hardware store and was told there was no such thing. On my way out the door I asked another worker at the same store and was taken to the aisle where they were featured in all sizes. Just gotta ask the right people.

And Dick Crabtree is one of the best.
