1914 Ford tail light bracket
Can anyone tell me what is the correct style tail light bracket to use on a 1914 roadster and how it is mounted?
I have seen the style that fits onto the back of the panel that fits under the turtle deck and the style that fits under the back panel mounted on a 14 roadster. Thank you, Craig |

2 bolts to the face of the body below the turtledeck. Starting in 1913 the touring cars have a tail lamp bracket that mounts under the body with vertical bolts. |

How is the tail light bracket attached to the body panel? Do I use carriage bolts, machine bolts or slotted round head stove bolts?

Should be a pair of carriage bolts with square nuts and flat washers between the nuts and the wood.

Re: 1914 Ford tail light bracket
Good point, does anyone have an original 14 roadster with the tail light bracket still attached? Craig
