Default C4 to block bolt size needed

Bought my engine and trans separate from each other and was wondering what is the correct bolt length. If anybody has this info handy I would appreciate it.

Bolt length is dependent on which C 4 you have. Some had thicker bell housing mounts. I like to see 3/4 inch of bolt in the block, but check the depth of the holes in your block.

The rule of thumb I have heard that the bolt should go in at least the diameter of the bolt

Don't forget the separator plate that goes between the trans and the block. http://www.jegs.com/i/ARP/070/154-0901/10002/-1

I think the bolt diameter is 7/16" UNC. Length is as mentioned.
