Default Signal Light Kit Installation

I ordered a signal light assemble - (Mike's Ford Able, GA). Unit turning switch is to be mounted on the steering wheel column. I will install cowel side lights and they have a separate lighting circuit for signal lights. The rear vehicle lights have separate circuits for the running lights and the brake lights.

Question: How do I hook the signal light circuit to the rear lighting circuit. Do I just break into each side of the rear brake circuit? Split that specific loop, feed up to the signal light switch and it will feed back out for either the signal or the brake? The unit should have a wiring schematic, but I thought I would ask, what's out there?
