Dad got wacked in the rear driving his H.P. Scooter last Tuesday riding in the bike lane. He was very lucky that he came out with only a broken leg bone above his knee. The helmet took a beating when he got thrown off but it saved him from head trauma. They put a few straight screws ( he refused Phillips heads ) to piece him back together. All went well and is now in rehab with no computer till he is able to stand on it then he can go home, so chasing the nurses around has been a daunting task. He told me now he can upgrade to the newer faster model but will always wear his lucky helmet. He sounds great and buster t
