Default Air cleaner ID

Air Cleaner ID help
This came with other Ford parts, looks like an AC filter.
2 1/4" throat
9 1/2" high
7 3/4" body
Lid measures 7 1/2 " across

Anybody recognize it? I want to list it , but I have no ID.
Thanks
Roy

Looks like something that would fit on a ford V8.

I've seen something similar on a AA in a photo off the net. I have a look and see if I can find it. Looked like it was mounted to a bracket above the data plate Pass. side. Probably 30's aftermarket?

I agree with Mike. Try posting on the V8 forum.

Too bad they didn't have the paper element back then.

I was wondering what paint was put on it? It looks more charcoal grey than black, and that's the same problem I've had with some spray cans of black paint. Years ago RustOleum was like that, but their black looks better now.

Any chance someone cut the lip on one side? I don't recall seeing one so cut down like that. For sure it can't be an oil bath that way, although it still can be an oil wetted filter.

I'm going with GM inline 6cyl for now. Doesn't match any Fords I can find.
Thanks for the input
