Well, here is what I ended up doing. They gave me 3 choices, go to dmv, go to chp or go to a vin verifier.
I looked on the internet for someone local who was licensed to verify vins and went that route. It cost me 30.00 to have it done and went back to aaa and got my plates. Now my problem is, in good old California you have to run with 2 plates and I have to figure out where to mount the front plate. |
