Not a complaint just a suggestion how about automatically getting things off ALL the boards that are 30 days old let them repost if they want to after all some of the posts have over 500 pages that are years old

Re: Model A Fella's please read this
Wouldn't that loose a lot of historical answers that people have posted about how they do things? You do have the ability to search this info.

Re: Model A Fella's please read this
Have not been here in a while. I agree with Ryan and Cobs stance. Some people seem to want to lord over others because of their "superior" knowledge or "righteous" attitudes. There are no dumb questions.

Re: Model A Fella's please read this
I am an absolute newby to the site but a kind of a grammarian.
"REPORT IT to Ryan or I." Should to be: "REPORT IT to Ryan or me." Sorry, but that is one of my pet peeves. |

Re: Model A Fella's please read this
DT guy, your going to be posting a lot here then. Not everyone is using spell check nor are concerned about grammar. Just let it go and learn about old fords. It's what this site is about.

Re: Model A Fella's please read this
DT you remind me of my sister-in-law. But there is nothing wrong with good grammar. On my posts along, it will keep you busy correcting them! Welcome to the site.

Re: Model A Fellas please read this
I made a basically humorous post that was very loosely linked to a Model A item and it was enjoyed by a few other posters but it was closed in about a day. I was not able to read all the replies so I don't know if it "went bad" but the thread is no longer there.
So heads up, these guys are really serious. Both the moderators and the purists. Tread the thread cautiously and keep it Model A restoration oriented. |

Re: Model A Fellas please read this
Haven't visited in a while and just saw the new comments! Thanks for a job well done! I got tired of reading the "replys" from the "experts" about how wrong some procedures were and had just about stppped logging on.
Re: oiling the wheel studs as an example......an old trucker told me many years ago that the only lug nuts you didn't oil were the ones you wanted to snap off.........I still oil the studs. Thanks again. |
