I remember a friend bought an old Cadillac that was in a garage, and a large tree had grown up in front of the garage door and had to be cut down to get the car out.

The owners probably wouldn't sell these cars way back when because they were going to restore them someday. Well, "someday" came and went and look at what the passage of time has wrought. 100% predictable.
