I drove this truck for a year with this transmission. It works well, no bad noises, no broken teeth. It sometimes came out of 2nd gear slowing down. It needs synchros and a going through. 1st gear has some chipping on the edges of the teeth. Van Pelt has every part you need to recondition this transmission. It comes with the yoke and the metal support that holds the foam floor seal. Comes with a used Ford clutch.

The clutch was chattering so I put in a new KYclutch and a 1991 S10 T5 transmission. It is a pleasure to drive around town with all synchronized gears. $500 green money, Stonington CT.
