The Mercury brake system is basically the same as the 1939 through 42 Ford passenger & commercial vehicles. They stretched the frame for a few more inches of wheelbase but there aren't any brake differences that I'm aware of. There were subtle changes to the 1946 through 48 model which affected adjustment procedures but most stuff can be interchanged in sets if a person wants to.
