Default 30 Tudor door problems

New to the model A. I have a1930 Tudor. Having problems with driver door latch and passenger door window.

Driver door latch does not catch. I have removed latch and think spring is broken. Found replacement springs at Snyders. Not sure how to remove springs and replace with new.

Passenger door window very hard to crank up. Lubricate?

Thanks

Should be the same as my 1929 Tudor, I think. See if this link helps.

If the striker on the rear body pillar is adjusted in too far, the door latch won't catch

When I had this problem I had to go thru and replace the window regulator assembly (the repop that was in there was a POS) and the channels that guide the glass. If they aren't adjusted correctly will cause the window to bind. Snyders sells a pretty good new regulator assembly. The ones made by Vintique, not so much.
