Default Solid 1932 brake drums?

A friend in Denmark gave me a complete and stock 1932 front end. It came with the drums pictured. They fit nicely and have the same "lovely" finish as the rest of the front end. Are these from another year or are they an european version?
Thanks!

They are different from US production. I don't see the little towers needed for the wire wheels. Ours were one piece with the open sections. You may have some kind of Europe only or aftermarket set or even from some othe brand of car.

They look like stock 32 -34 rears with the hubs removed and replaced with the front hubs from stock 32 - 34 drums. The hubs from the front brakes were then welded to the rear drums to make them "front drums" for 32 - 34.

I agree with Roger. Note the scalloping between the studs which corresponds to the open area of the typical '32-'34 front drums.

I agree the drums them selves are the same as the rears but as this looks very correctly done and with slight press fit and no welds, i think that this version maybe were made this way to be able to use the same drums on all four corners for ease of service.

I agree with your observation. If Mr OHV Deluxe wants to run wire wheels and they are like US built wire wheels he should buy a set of adapters. To see what we are talking about for towers go to: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/t.../#post-8330045
