Question 66 Ranchero

Newbe in this dept. Just got a 66 Ranchero , From the original owner. Has bucket seats , 289, automatic, 3- 2 barrels ,power stearing, and air condition. Its been stored out side in a field, where a big bolder slid down hitting the car. I will be looking for a left rear 1/4 panel. drug it home Sat. pulled out most of the rat nest. Just wondering if anyone can direct me to parts for this thing, and is this a rare setup? Everything seems to be factory installed. Thanks for any pointers. Dave

The 3x2 setup only came stock on the big block FE engines, 390 and 406. If you have a setup on a 289 then its probably one of the Cobra aftermarket/dealer sold units.

67 Fairlane quarter will fit. My 66 has a 67 quarter on it.

Yes it will. This picture is the car after a drunk hit it. Not me in the pic, that right rear quarter came off a 67 Fairlane, I know because I cut it off the Fairlane.

OK, won't upload the pic, don't say why, just that it failed.

Found a couple of pics....most of the build pics went with the car when it was sold.
