I'm pretty sure the bolts are the correct type, the others are the same. There's no sign of the shank of the bolt bottoming on the threads. They have to have the plain part as they are dowel bolts to position the pressure plate. I'm assuming that one must have been overtightened and overstressed in the past. I wasn't really pulling on it, I was only using a 1/4" drive rachet.
