"Steve, there is nothing special about the build. Snyder's 6:1 head, .060 over pistons, Babbitt mains, and my own pressurized oiling design. When it get up to running temp the pressure drops to a steady 30 lbs. But the front cam journal wasn't perfect so there was probably more pressure to be had with a perfect bore. It is a stock oil pump. I have plans to add bosses inside the valve cover chamber for a pressure relief valve and for a plumbing option for a full pressure oil filter like the one Snyder sells right now. Things will only get better from here.

Just a note: The oil filter that Snyder's sells will not work with your new cast iron header. I opted for a remote filter system that works great with your header.
