Then chuck it in some salty water overnight; let it dry and buff lightly and you get the pins like in your photo, with a nice patina'ed look.
Then attach them to some old card stock and glue on the name of the WWII nazi hat maker, Robert Lubstein (cut from an old nazi hat), and voila. Don't forget to scribble some German words at the top of the card in black Magic Marker (don't worry if the German grammar is not correct - no one will notice
)
