That's not the whole story. Zenith 1: Made by Zenith. Zenith 2: made by Holley. Zenith 3: Made by Ford. All internal parts interchangeable. Numbers and stampings on Carburetors changed through the Model A era. The Model A Judging Standards has a comprehensive chart on the evolution of the Zenith style carburetors. Well worth the research. Other manufacturers such as Tillotson have their own characteristics of which I am not privy.
