People tend to forget what a modern marvel this plant was. First of it's kind and still a wonderment.
Parts of my family are from the Downriver Detroit area and this place loomed large in their lives.
Plus if you have ever bought a bag of "Kingsford" charcol briquettes you have the Rouge and Henry Ford to thank.
