The early Ford wire wheels will
NOT mount correctly to a basically flat surface larger than the OD lip of the hub of the wheel without a spacer/ adapter like I posted(post 2) .The bolting surface hub is recessed on the early Ford wire wheels.For those of you that are not aware of this here is a picture.
