Default Re: Double Clutch Upshift

When I was a teenager, I was great at driving my "A". Now 55 years later it took a lot of practice to learn all over. The most important thing is to go slow and feel the gear into place. It helps not to grip the shift knob, but to just push or pull it with your open hand. Also, idle speed is critical, the slower the better. I think one of the problems todays driver faces is infrequent use of the car. Years ago it was my daily driver, today my "A" is one of my toys, driven only once a week at most.
