Re: NorCal Swap Meet calendar???

I went through the year. Shows no swaps after 4/21. Can that be right?

***

Oop, went through it again, I was wrong, Galt on 5/18. Is that a good one?...

WTB "Ford's Little Powerhouse" and "Flathead Facts"

Books by Richard Willim and John Lawson, respectively. New to flatheads, need reading material.

Re: What wheels are these?

It originally came with a V8-60 (as noted by the hood emblems) that had been replaced with something larger.

Original 1934 pickup frame or rolling chassis

I'm looking for a usable '34 pickup frame or rolling chassis. With title preferred. Doesn't have to be a California title, just as long as it matches the frame numbers. Anywhere in the lower-48.

Re: What wheels are these?

The pickup was for sale on craigslist and that's the best shot of the wheels. I couldn't round up the funds or I'd have bought it. I've never seen wheels/hub caps like those and would like to...

What wheels are these?

These are on a '38. I really like the look. Were they original? If so, what years/models did they come on?
Thanks,
gary

Re: Anyone here used American Stamping Corporation frame rails?

After thinking about the titling headache this might turn out to be here in California I'm having serious second thoughts about the whole enterprise.

Re: Anyone here used American Stamping Corporation frame rails?

Thank you, all. I do have access to an original frame that's not really useable but I should be able to salvage the crossmembers. It's a start.

Re: Anyone here used American Stamping Corporation frame rails?

Thanks, Vic. Guess I need to get a shipping quote from them. Hopefully it's not a dealbreaker.

Re: Anyone here used American Stamping Corporation frame rails?

Thank you, Bob. Did you use their crossmembers? I'm wondering if they have all the holes correctly punched. I can come up with originals but they'll be somewhat pitted.

Second thoughts: American Stamping Corporation frame rails

I'm looking at options for building a 1934 pickup frame and wondering if anyone here has used American Stamping Corporation's rails and can offer an opinion on them. Alternative suggestions are...

Re: 1934 Ford PU frame

Thanks, Ray. I do have an under-seat tank. I'll have to add a splash guard to my needed list, mine has the cutout.

Re: 1934 Ford PU frame

Thanks guys.

My cab doesn't have an external gas filler. That makes it a truck cab, right?

Condition-wise it's rust/rot free, just needs a few dents worked out around the beltline. It needs a...

1934 Ford PU frame

I've got a cab that I planned to put on a custom frame and run fenderless but I've decided that I want something fendered with a full length bed.

Is the PU frame the same as one from a passenger...
