Ford usually has a couple of 'packages' that can be installed which are for the most part heavy duty components such as stiffer suspensions and over sized radiators etc. These are usually made also...

Type F is the replacement fluid for typa A and was designed for improved Friction Charactics --In other words less sippage between friction mateials thus less wear.

Whatever part has the number beginning with E7 was a part intended for an 87 vehicle
Part numbers beginning with B were 50's, C 60's, D 70's etc.

Remove Carb
Back off idle speed screw
Adjust throttle plates so that they close completelt
Adjust idle speed screw until the plates are open 1/2 turn
Turn idle mix screws in until lightly seated...

Do not remove--The engine will run best and last longer with actual water jacket temperature in to 200-205 range

Suggest that you examine the area around the filler for possible leak into passenger area. Also the drain hose which should carry any overflow to the ground.

My motors manual shows oil up to shaft thru next to last support stand and return thru the others. Do not recall this engine but some had a special bolt it supply position.

Suggest everyone read testing proceedure and specification which is the same for all 12 Volt systems and if working with a six volt system only needs to be halved.

1 Engine off check voltage...
