Re: 30/3.5 tires

I found that the key to dis- mounting and mounting tires is the sun and a hot day.
I needed to remove tires that were on the rims for 40 years struggled until someone told me to let the sun heat...

One is stuck. The other...

I was going thru some of my parents stuff and found an old Raccoon coat.
They were antique car enthusiasts and I remember my mom saying that she wanted one to go with the cars, but don’t remember...

Re: Where to get tough up paint?

If I get touch up paint for my Model A it would have to be rusty / black with a bit of WD 40 for rust protection.

Re: Am I allowed to win?

It runs again! I win, at least for the moment.
It was most likely a stuck float, but since I took a bunch of stuff apart I’ll never know for sure.

The only issue is that it doesn’t start easily,...

Re: Am I allowed to win?

This reminds me of Hee Haw
Doom, Despair, and Agony On Me.

Re: Am I allowed to win?

I have warned my wife that if I don’t come in the house for lunch or 4PM...

Re: Am I allowed to win?

Thanks guys! :-)

I was kinda hoping that someone would say that I was not stupid to start at the battery end and take everything apart instead of checking for spark at the plugs, then make sure...

Re: Sealing oil leaks?

Hey Red....My 19 came without a starter but one can be added, which I did.
I put the switch on the floor out or the way so far that I couldn’t reach it, but carry a 2 ft 1x2 as a starting aid

Re: Happy Birthday to our car.....

We celebrated the 100th birthday of our 1919 Model T a few years ago.
The motor number tells us that it was built on Henry Ford’s birthday.
The local newspaper did a story about it and it won the...
