There is your problem. No matter what type of paint you use, it will not adhere properly if the surface isn't clean. You need to bust out the grinder with a roloc disc and grind it to bare metal,...

I had the same issue too. The guy I bought it from globbed on about a half a tube of RVT and wrapped a piece of a robe around it...

I pulled it out and took it to the radiator shop and they...

I've heard that Delo no longer has zddp.

I use a valvoline racing oil that has a big yellow sticker on the front that says "ZDDP, contains zinc"

I'm open to any advice anyone has on this subject too, I've never done this before.

The motor is otherwise...

Thanks for the info and the pics guys. I realize how easy it is to make one, with access to the proper equipment. Unfortunately I don't right now.

Does anybody know if such an adaptor is...
