I’m no expert so with that I’m assuming the distributor advance is correct you may back off the distributor brake .

When I used a degree wheel on a Max 1 it was off . Slotting the timing gear wasn’t a option for me .
Had Pete grind me a cam using a stock Ford cam and very happy.
About to send him another .

See Attach home made job . Based on budget and money there’s plenty of options .
Just some plywood and foam . Moved the stock base back 5” . Keep both OEM springs .
I’m 6-1” and can finally enjoy...

On one of my 97 the float had pin hole causing the carb to over fill and fuel down the throat causing the engine to flood. . I put the float in boiling water and you could see the air bubbles ....

Yes 32 frame , 59 eng. Tattersfield manifold , power master alt.

Bought double pulley from powemaster but had to open up the V in the pulley for wider belt
The alum color pulley is from...

Started with a speedway pulley , ran the lath and created bearing pocket . Used Ford bracket and fan

I’m taking the disc off on a 32 I just trade for and going back to drum. I have 5-4.5 mustang disc and I tried the adt with 35 wires and it worked but looked goofy .

Do a search on you tube ( Vt title) I’ve done this many years ago on my 38 knucklehead . You will have to trailer the car to get Vin check . You can use your address VT don’t care .

Re: lifter adjustment on 1939.

I ground the socket down on a Bench grounder to fit and welded a steel rod on side to fit between the radiator .
Pull spark plugs .
