The third brush is located under the cover ring at the rear of the generator. The cover ring must be removed to see and adjust the third brush.

Valve grinding question
When Model A valve seats are ground should a single angle grind be used or a multi angle grind to narrow the seats ?

Hoogah,
Cars with pristine fire walls, that is with no holes cut in them are getting harder to find. You might want to reconsider cutting a heater hole if your fire wall is in like new shape....
