Re: starting problem???
Maybe you should just leave the electric pump on all the time. Your mechanical pump may be toast

Re: Columbia two speed differentials
The hype around the need to "Bulletin proof" these Columbias is way over blown. This is not a cost-effective insurance plan. Reminds of the "Car Sheild" crap". Just get a good, used, (No Cracks!)...

That engine is the Bees Knees!!! Those bangers are so much fun. So many ways to go. Nice job. I may be asking you for help on my '31 Vickie engine. First one. How do you define "Numbers Matching" in...

Re: 3 window coupe
The 3 W looks much better with suicide doors. The hinges are then in a much better place.

Re: A newbie needs help!
Welcome to ModelAland.
Having been at rest for all those years, you should assume that the gas tank in this car is full of crud and should be cleaned out. Not an easy task but much easier than...

Re: Skip Haney
Skip uses only the best materials. Cuts no corners. He has become, by years of practice, the "King of Coils".

Re: Is this heater from a 1937 Ford?
How nice of you to assist with this project

Re: Change from 16 inch wheels to 15 inch wheels
15" wheels have the advantage over 16" if the choice is a "reversed" style wheel", in clearance within the inner fender. Many more options.
IMHO 16" wheels and tires look much better on these cars...

Re: ‘40 2 door sedan
There is a good reason that this car is so low mileage. No fun to drive. These 60 HP engines are great for boats and midget racers but not so much in a full-size sedan.

I recently (this past week) purchased a starter from you and, as usual, there were no issues.

Re: 47 V8 ignition mystery
Great advice. This, you need to do. From a personal perspective, at my age (75) my time has become much more valuable than my money.
I recently had a vexing problem with my newly rebuilt...
