Re: Howell's Sheet metal

Howell's is just a middle man, it would appear. I suspect they don't actually make anything, and if they do, it's minor. Fenders come from Rootleib, running boards come from Rootleib, splash aprons...

Re: UHaul open car hauler for a Model T?

I rented a Uhaul car hauler trailer (open between the rails) and hauled my car on an 11 hour trip in the rain. At night. I stopped several times during the trip to check things and stayed at the...

Re: 1913 Model T touring : What do I have??

Somebody registered it as a 1913 because the engine number was built in October of 1913 but it's actually a 1914 car because the 1914 model year started in September of 1913. It has a 1914 body. I...

Re: What year?

Unless the door hinges have been changed, it's a 24. But could be 24 -25.

The door posts appear to be metal with wood bolted to them. 21's didn't have this. They were wood all the way, IRRC....

Re: Patch panels?

They are not made. The side panels from the rear of the firewall (cowel) to the back of the quarter panel curve where the rear panel meets the curve are all one piece.

Contact Mark at Model T...

Re: timing help

That little tool is only to be used with Ford made timers, and no other.

The timer rod is only to be bent in the curved section that sits right above the timer itself.

To throw a little gas on the fire, my 1925 Touring runs better at 1/32 of an inch. I've tried several sets of plugs including original X's, reproduction X's, Motorcraft replacement plugs and an...

Re: Buying a Rebuilt Engine ?

The 25 engine that came with my car developed a knock so I removed it and replaced it with a 23 engine until I can save enough dough to rebuild the 25 again.

I paid 1500 bucks for mine and it...
