41-46 Ford front axle

I'm looking for a bare 41-46 Ford front axle. Just the axle. Due to exaggerated shipping costs I'd prefer some one local or nearby Omaha. thanks, Mike

High compression head

I'm looking to buy a high compression head for my Model A speedster. Prefer compression from 6.9-7.1. Would love a Winfield but not a necessity.

40 rear end in a Model A

I'm tinkering with a Model A speedster project and I was wondering if 40 axles front and rear would work and look right. It'll be fenderless. Does anyone have input on this.

Overdrive

I have a Volvo electric overdrive in my A. I can't get it to engage the solenoid. It's 12 v. I know I've seen posts on here about running theirs on 6v.. If I touch 12 volts to the solenoid it clicks....

I'm looking for a pair of hydraulic brakes for the rear end of my Model A. What have you used on your A? Are there bolt on backing plates? Will 40 Fordbacking plates work?
