1936 ford truck rear brake levers

Hello all. Does anyone have a trick of the trade to re bush the lever actuator in the rear backing plates. I can’t find bushings anywhere. Is there another way to do it? Thanks

Did you come in from passenger door or driver door. Mine is molded so there is very little flex

I was thinking I would try to remove “those sticks” cause that fiberglass panel doesn’t have much flex. How hard is it to take the shifter handle off?

Does anyone have any tips for getting the molded part of the insulation pad up into the firewall. I can’t seem to get around the gearshift steering column and e brake.

I've noticed about an 1/8 to 1/4 turn of play in steering wheel. Box is probably shot. Rebuild or replace?

Leaky steering box

I have a 36 ford pick up and thought I had a bad oil leak and when I put it on my lift found it to be the steering box. Is this a hard fix. Thanks

I think it is the cork gasket or some permatex that goes in that dome around the u joint

So I got the truck up on lift last night and found that the whole connection point of the u joint to the transmission was a mess. There was a what felt like rubber glob hanging down from that dome...
