The third brush is located under the cover ring at the rear of the generator. The cover ring must be removed to see and adjust the third brush.

Hoogah,
Cars with pristine fire walls, that is with no holes cut in them are getting harder to find. You might want to reconsider cutting a heater hole if your fire wall is in like new shape....

With front engine mount bolted in place including both upper springs, leaf spring and leather spacer. The lower engine mount stud will appear through the front crossmember as it does in Dollar Bills...
