I knew the matches were wrong, all I had to use for demonstration purposes.
The gas guage probably didn't leak much in the 30s-40s, Then zippo lighters became popular.

I painted the radiator shell with a black primer then satin black.
One thing I should add, I only placed 1 small parts order with Brattons. All the parts I needed were all ready here in my parts...

16 Day transformation of 30 pickup.
